La mélancholie des belles asperges

La mélan­cholie des belles asperges originated in 2018 as an installation on a wall in Paris during the atelier scholarship by Visarte Ost. Later, I published 100 copies myself. 

The pictures are experiments with color, illustrative elements, text and abstraction. By hanging them on the wall, a collage-like overall picture of a narrative emerges that can be read in different ways. Image and text allow for ever new combinations and interpretations. Poetic, funny, absurd and pseudo-philosophical statements alternate. It is a sounding-out of illustration and imagination.
